Fans have claimed Kim Kardashian “misses Kanye West” after they spotted a major detail in one of her recent selfies.

The Kardashians star, 43, split from Kanye in 2021 after almost six years of marriage following a string of controversial remarks and behaviour from the rapper. The couple shared four children – North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and 4-year-old Psalm – and despite their divorce only being finalised in November 2022, the Stronger hitmaker wed Bianca Censori just weeks later in a secret ceremony.

Kim has previously spoken about the difficulties she’s faced co-parenting with her ex-husband, but the Skims founder has always supported Kanye, and was even spotted attending one of his album listening parties earlier this month alongside Bianca. But she sparked rumours of a possible reconciliation after she posted a steamy selfie on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, which fuelled speculation about her relationship with her ex.

Sharing the throwback photo of herself, eagle-eyed fans spotted Kim was wearing a necklace that read “KIMYE”, which was her and Kanye’s nickname when they were together. In the snap, the billionaire businesswoman posed with one arm above her head while wearing a skintight top and sunglasses. The photo was later shared on Reddit, as fans suggested Kim was missing her ex-husband, just days after it was reported Kim and Odell Beckham Jnr had split following a six-month romance.

“She posted a photo wearing kimye necklace?? Every now and then his fans are right about her and that just confirms that she and OBJ (who was at a stripper’s club yesterday) are over,” one commented. However, one user spotted the picture was a throwback from a fan page, as another dismissed rumours Kim was waiting to reunite with Kanye. “I doubt it. She’s been at his shows, seems cordial with his new wife, and so on. Her posting an old photo that happens to possibly have a KimYe necklace is nothing,” they wrote. Meanwhile, one cheeky fan joked: “This is the kimye soft launch?”

Kim and Odell’s relationship was kept under wraps since they allegedly began dating in September last year, but haven’t been seen together since March 11, and their split appeared to have been confirmed over the weekend. A source told the Daily Mail that Kim and Odell “seeing each other anymore right now”, and the couple – who were last seen attending the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty together – parted ways following months of “exclusively dating” one another, with rumours Kim was ready to welcome baby number five with the NFL star.
