In the recently released trailer for IMPACT x Nightline: Gisele Bündchen: Climbing the Mountain, the 43-year-old struggled when addressing her divorce with ABC’s Robin Roberts.

“You said it was the death of a dream,” Roberts said, going on to ask, “How are you?”

“Well, when you say,” Bundchen responded before tearing up.

“Sorry, guys, I didn’t know…. can I have a little moment?”

The divorce has meant Bundchen and Brady, 46, have had to adapt to co-parenting their two children, 10-year-old Vivian and 14-year-old Benjamin.

Bundchen admitted that when it comes to co-parenting, “I think there are easier days than others,” adding, “And I can only control what I do.”

However, according to a recent report, it was the prospect of co-parenting that “scared” Brady, putting him off getting a divorce, as per the Daily Mail.

“Tom would actually agree that co-parenting hasn’t been easy,” a source told the outlet.

“There has been a lot of love lost in their relationship and navigating through that and their careers and finding new love has not been easy.

“It is safe to say that Tom and Gisele never expected to break up.”

The difficulties involved in co-parenting are nothing new to Brady, who also shares his son Jack with his ex-partner, actress Bridget Moynahan.

“He never wanted to divorce, especially since his relationship with Bridget ended, and dealing with that to get to a place of good co-parenting took some time,” the source said.

“To do it all over again has been stressful.”

They went on to describe it as “a sad situation,” explaining how “family is so important to both of them and to not be a complete family sets many struggles moving forward.

“Like everything, they will get there, because they aren’t getting back together, but Gisele and Tom have gone through a bunch of sadness to be where they are now, which is leaps and bounds better than it has been.”

Shortly after their divorce, Bundchen was rumored to be dating her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente.

And while she subsequently denied this in an interview with Vanity Fair, the two were captured kissing over a year later.

Now, a recent report has claimed that Bundchen and Valente may be prepared to go public, as per Life & Style.
