Beyoncé Gifts ‘Beautiful’ Flowers to Singer Zoë Erianna, 7, Who Covered Her Song ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’

The young singer, who competed on season 18 of ‘America’s Got Talent,’ received Beyoncé’s stamp of approval on her cover of the country song

Young singer Zoë Erianna already wowed the judges on America’s Got Talent. Now, she also has Beyoncé’s stamp of approval.

After creating a fully produced cover of Queen Bey’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” with no sheet music, the 7-year-old singer — who competed on season 18 of AGT — received a large bouquet of flowers from the Grammy-winning superstar alongside a kind, encouraging note.

About two weeks ago, Zoë’s parents shared an Instagram video of their talented daughter expressing interest in learning to play “Texas Hold ‘Em” herself after hearing the chart-topping country song in the car.

In the clip, she sits in the family’s home recording studio and recreates the banjo-heavy production on a keyboard — and it’s not easy. “Although Zoë has perfect pitch, timing banjo style rhythm and fingerpicking on keyboard can be a challenge,” wrote her parents in the post’s caption.

By the end of the video, she’s self-produced a version of the song’s instrumental that sounds nearly identical to the original track, which will appear on Beyoncé’s upcoming album Cowboy Carter.

Beyoncé later caught wind of the video, as she sent Zoë a large bouquet of white flowers from Bouquet Shop in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday. (The family resides in the state’s Drexel Hill town, according to a local NBC affiliate.)

Alongside the gift, the “Break My Soul” performer penned a sweet note to the young girl. “Your rendition of ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ brought me so much joy. You are brilliant, please keep it up,” read the message, signed by Beyoncé.

The family shared videos of Zoë receiving the “beautiful bouquet” to Instagram. “Learning songs by ear from greats like The Queen B has become part of Zoë’s music education,” wrote her parents.

Zoë also expressed thanks for the flowers, telling the local news outlet, “It feels exciting and happy and I’m so happy that she sent this to me.”

Earlier this week, Beyoncé unveiled the title of her upcoming country album Cowboy Carter, which acts as the follow-up to 2022’s Renaissance, and it’s set for a March 29 release.

She teased the forthcoming project in a Verizon commercial during the 2024 Super Bowl before surprise-dropping two songs: “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages.” The former track has since reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Hot Country Songs chart — making her the first-ever Black woman to top the genre-specific chart.

While few details are known about Cowboy Carter, it’s possible that a cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” could be on the tracklist. The country icon, 78, recently shared that she heard Queen Bey recorded a version of her signature hit during an interview with Knox News.

“Well, I think she has! I think she’s recorded ‘Jolene’ and I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album, which I’m very excited about that,” she told the outlet last week.
