In a document recently submitted to the court, Angelina Jolie’s lawyer claimed that Brad Pitt had begun physically abusing her before and that the assault on the private plane was just the last straw.

According to People , Angelina Jolie’s lawyers filed a motion on April 4 regarding the ongoing legal battle with Brad Pitt over the Miraval winery in France. In the profile, the Eternals actress makes shocking claims about Brad Pitt’s past.

“While Pitt’s history of physically abusing Jolie predated his flight from France to Los Angeles in September 2016, this flight marked the first time he physically abused his children. Jolie immediately followed immediately leave him,” the petition reads.

Lawyer Paul Murphy representing Jolie told People on Thursday: “Mr. Pitt refused to buy Jolie’s shares when she did not want to sign a silence agreement.
