Six children: Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax, Vivienne and Knox became the focus of attention in the long legal battle between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

The A-list couple has been locked in a long legal battle since Jolie first filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016. A judge declared them single in 2019. The biggest issue in the divorce continues is child custody. According to Page Six, in 2021, Brad Pitt was awarded joint custody of his 6 children with Angelina Jolie. Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie wanted full custody of the children and she was extremely disappointed by this ruling.

Maddox

Maddox was adopted by Jolie in 2002. During that time, Jolie loved Maddox deeply and often appeared with him in public. Maddox also had the opportunity to play a small role in his father’s film World War Z (2013) and assisted his mother in making the original film First They Killed My Father in her home country of Cambodia.

There is information that Pitt hitting Maddox on a flight in 2016 may have been the reason why Angelina Jolie decided to file for divorce. In a statement released by Jolie’s lawyer at the time, the decision to divorce was “made for the health of the family,” according to People. To date, Maddox’s relationship with his father is said to still be tense and distant.

Maddox is currently studying at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. In a 2020 interview with Extra, Jolie said Maddox returned to the US to take online classes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In February 2021, Maddox showed off a rare image of a large dragon tattoo on the right side of his chest and an image of mother Jolie cutting his hair.

Maddox celebrated his 21st birthday last August with his family before helping his younger sister Zahara get acquainted with the university environment.

Zahara

Jolie-Pitt adopted Zahara in 2005. According to IMDB, Zahara also voiced Kung Fu Panda 3 and had a small, uncredited role in Maleficent. Zahara seems quite close to her sister Shiloh. The two were spotted shopping together and attended Nickelodeon’s 28th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards in 2015 with Angelina Jolie. In 2019, Zahara launched a jewelry line, the Zahara collection, in collaboration with jeweler Robert Procop.

In October 2021, Zahara wore her mother’s white dress to attend the world premiere of Marvel’s Eternals. Late last year, Zahara joined Jolie in Washington as the actress conducted meetings to modernize and strengthen the Violence Against Women Act. Zahara begins classes at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia this fall.

Shiloh

Pitt and Jolie’s first daughter was born in May 2006. When she was young, Shiloh liked to wear masculine clothes. Jolie also revealed to Vanity Fair that Shiloh wanted to be a boy. As she got older, Shiloh debuted a new look with long hair and often wore it in a high bun when attending events with her family.

These days, Shiloh has ditched the suits but often opts for fun and comfortable shoes over heels on the red carpet.

Shiloh also appeared as a dancer in a video for Doja Cat’s song, “Vegas,” in the movie “Elvis.”

Pax Thien

Jolie’s second oldest son is Pax Thien. He was adopted from Vietnam in 2007 when he was 3 years old. Pax, along with his brother Maddox, share the same aesthetic. He celebrated his seventh birthday with his family in Paris, riding a hot air balloon and going on a party cruise, according to People. That same year, in 2011, Jolie took Pax to Vietnam so she could learn more about her culture and background.

Like his siblings, Pax Thien also played a small role in his parents’ film. Jolie revealed during an appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour in 2016 that Pax was interested in music and DJing. In 2021, Pax graduated from a high school in Los Angeles. According to media, he skipped the graduation ceremony because he did not want to attract attention at the event.

Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon

Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline were born in July 2008. In 2011, Angelina Jolie revealed that Vivienne is a stylish girl who likes to have her nails done and loves the color pink. Meanwhile, Knox is the opposite, with Jolie describing him as a tough little “guy” who likes dinosaurs and swords.

Vivienne soon entered the cinema playing the role of young Princess Aurora in Maleficent with her famous mother and earned a significant salary. Meanwhile, Knox and his siblings participated in voicing animals in Kung Fu Panda 3. The famous twins also appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine’s November 2015 issue with their parents and siblings.
