Angelina Jolie said she is not afraid of old age, but on the contrary, looks forward to it

“I’ve never been good at sitting still. I wanted to have many children, wanted to be a mother, but I always imagined myself as Jane Goodall – a chimpanzee researcher, exploring somewhere in the middle of the forest. I didn’t imagine motherhood in the traditional sense of being a housewife. I feel like I lack all the skills to be such a mother. However, I am overcoming all those difficulties and shortcomings because of my parents. My children are resilient, talented, they help me a lot” – Angelina Jolie confided.

She added that she loves the children very much and feels like they are all on the same team, on each other’s side.

Angelina Jolie has 3 biological children: Shiloh, Vivienne, Knox and 3 adopted children including Maddox, Pax Thien, Zahara.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt filed for divorce in 2016 after a long relationship. The 45-year-old female star said she always has a positive outlook on the future.

“The past few years have been quite hard. I’m focusing on healing our family. It’s slowly coming back, like the ice has melted and the blood has returned to the body. I’m looking forward to my 50s and I feel like I’ll hit my stride at age 50. The other day, when I imitated my kids on the trampoline, they shouted, “Mom, don’t do that, you’ll get hurt!” I did. I thought to myself that it was funny because I used to be an action movie star and now my children are worried that I will get hurt while walking on the trampoline” – Angelina Jolie confided.

Angelina Jolie emphasizes the importance of teaching global citizenship to her children. Her children come from many places around the world, such as Maddox in Cambodia, Pax Thien in Vietnam, Zahara in Ethiopia. “Maddox is Cambodian, as well as an American citizen and a global citizen. Cambodia is not only the homeland Maddox must visit, but it is important that family members also go there to understand each other better.” – Angelina Jolie said.

This star is very proud to have a family of many different cultures and races and affirms that everyone is learning from each other every day to improve.
