Doja Cat had an eventful moment at the Grammy Awards when she almost missed receiving her well-deserved trophy. After a quick trip to the restroom, the star rushed back to the stage just in time. Laughingly, she shared, “I have never taken such a fast p*** in my whole life. Thank you, everybody. I really appreciate it.”

Accompanying her was SZA, who unfortunately had to walk with crutches due to a mishap with her bed. Despite the minor setback, the duo was able to collect the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their hit song “Kiss Me More.” Doja Cat couldn’t help but express her admiration for SZA, saying,

“SZA, you are everything to me. You are incredible. You are the epitome of talent.” Gratefully, SZA replied, “I’m glad you made it back in time.”

Interestingly, it was Lady Gaga who rendered her assistance, helping SZA with the train on her dress as she walked to the stage. The camaraderie amongst the artists was heartwarming to witness.

The emotions of the night overwhelmed Doja Cat as tears streamed down her face. She admitted, “I like to downplay s***. But this? This is a big deal.” Her vulnerability and honesty resonated with the audience and emphasized the significance of the moment.

In recent news, Doja Cat made headlines when she announced her decision to quit music. Last week, she changed her Twitter username to “I quit” after receiving backlash from Paraguayan fans. However, it seems she may have had a change of heart since then, as she expressed remorse for her previous statement. Whatever the future holds for Doja Cat, it’s clear that her talent and impact on the music industry will not be forgotten.
