And the Kansas City quarterback showed off his self-proclaimed ‘dad bod’ at a Los Cabos resort as he wore a straw hat and a blue bathing suit.

Mahomes, meanwhile, could be seen in the water with his young children during the trip.

He said that he had a ‘dad bod’ in the week leading up to the Super Bowl vs. the 49ers, as he was asked by a reporter if he’d rather have a six-pack or another Super Bowl win.

He unsurprisingly chose the latter option – before joking that he actually already had washboard abs.

‘I have a six pack, it’s just under the dad bod. If you feel—there might be some skin there, but then underneath that, the six pack is there,’ he said.

‘You just gotta get real close and squint a little bit. I think you’ll see it.’

‘Dad bod’ or not, the quarterback was tremendous in the Super Bowl, throwing for 333 yards and two touchdowns – including the game-clincher to Mecole Hardman in overtime.

The trip comes after Brittany revealed that she’s suffering from a fractured back.

She linked the injury to being the mother of three-year-old Sterling and one-year-old Bronze.

 ‘Just your daily reminder: Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor,’ Brittany posted on Instagram. ‘Seriously. From: A girl with a fractured back.’

Since winning the Super Bowl vs. San Francisco, Mahomes has been busy.

Immediately following the game, he and his family flew to Disneyland for the customary Super Bowl MVP visit.

Mahomes also flew to Germany earlier this week, as he visited Adidas’ headquarters and even met with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Mahomes has been an Adidas athlete since going pro in 2017.

While he’s currently enjoying the NFL offseason, the Chiefs will add to their roster in next month’s NFL Draft, and he’ll be expected back for a mandatory minicamp in the spring.

Votto is a non-roster invitee which means he is not on Toronto’s 40-man roster. He’ll have a chance to make the team if he has a good showing in Spring Training, but it’s on him to perform now that he’s been given the opportunity to compete.

Despite an unbelievable resume, Votto does still have something to prove, as he’s coming off a rough season. He slashed .202/.314/.433 with 14 home runs and 38 RBI in 65 games, missing time due to injury in the process.

If he can bounce back offensively, Votto is a great fit on this right-handed heavy Toronto team. He can DH against right-handed pitching and break up the righties. He simply has to prove himself once again.

Jackson Mahomes, who is the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor battery count.

On Friday, Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk reported the count stems from an incident in February 2023 in which Mahomes shoved someone at a restaurant.

He also allegedly grabbed a woman’s neck and kissed her against her will, but the initial felony counts of aggravated sexual battery he faced were dropped in January because the accuser refused to testify, per Alper.

“According to multiple reports, Mahomes was sentenced to six months in jail but that sentence will be suspended if Mahomes complies with court orders that include alcohol treatment and avoiding contact with his accuser,” Alper wrote.

Mahomes faced three sexual assault charges before they were dropped.

Surveillance video appeared to corroborate the allegations:

“Like I said from the beginning, Jackson has done nothing wrong,” Mahomes’ attorney, Brandan Davies, said after the motion to dismiss the three felony charges was filed.
