North West has announced she is releasing her debut album at only 10-years-old – but not everybody is happy about the title.

The eldest daughter of Kanye West, 46, and Kim Kardashian, 43, broke the news that she would be releasing new music at her father’s Vultures 2 listening party on Sunday.

North took to the spotlight on the Footprint Center stage in Phoenix, Arizona, with Kanye standing nearby as she dropped the bombshell.

‘Hi, it’s Northie, and I’ve been working on an album. And it’s called Elementary School Drop Out, as the crowd erupted into roaring cheers.

As the loud applause continued, a proud Kanye guided his daughter off stage with his hands placed protectively on her shoulders.

It comes after Kanye took to social media last week to blast his and Kim’s latest parenting disagreement.

Kim is reportedly upset with Kanye after he begged her to remove their children from an exclusive elementary school via a note posted to Instagram.

‘Kim take my kids out of Sierra Canyon now it’s a fake school for celebrities that are used by “the system,”‘ Kanye express in all capital letters.

A source told TMZ that Kim ‘is frustrated with his constant public attacks and naming of the school because it creates safety and security concerns each and every time for their children.’

She is also frustrated that the rap artist told their children that ‘school isn’t necessary,’ according to the insider.

The person close to the situation added that Kim enrolled the kids at Sierra Canyon for its reputation as a ‘fantastic school’ and because ‘their children need consistency in their lives.’

Moreover, North’s album title – Elementary School Drop Out – is a nod to her father’s critically acclaimed debut The College Dropout hasn’t sat well with many.

Many took to Twitter to express their discontent with the album name.

The crowd erupted into roaring cheers as she said: ‘Hi, it’s Northie, and I’ve been working on an album. And it’s called Elementary School Drop Out

‘I’m praying she didn’t actually drop out of elementary school.’

‘So North West dropping an album called “Elementary School Drop-Out”!

‘Hey I think it’s cool she wanna do music. It’s just how is this a good idea to call an album that?’

‘Did she actually drop out of elementary school?’

‘A kid with “Elementary School Dropout” as the title is wild.’

‘Well, most elementary school students will think dropping out is cool while North West lives in luxury.’

Although many weren’t big fans of the name, others were extremely excited about the album drop.

The name of the album is a nod to her famous father’s Grammy-winning debut album The College Dropout

Dissimilar to the echoing cheers in Arizona many online weren’t pleased about the album title, with one writing: ‘Children please stay in school’

‘North West’s debut album bout to have the hardest beats in child star history.’

‘There is no way North West gonna drop an album before Playboi Carti.’

‘COMING FOR THAT YOUNGEST GRAMMY WINNER TITLE OH IKTR!’

Kanye’s album The College Dropout, which serves as inspiration for North’s debut, sold over four million copies worldwide when it first hit shelves in 2004.

The four time platinum album also bagged Kanye three Grammy’s including Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song (Jesus Walks) and Best R&B song (You Don’t Know My Name).

North wasn’t the only West child present at the listening party on Sunday, with her two younger siblings, Chicago, six, and Psalm, four, sending the crowd wild as they played on the smoke filled concert floor.

Elementary School Dropout won’t be North’s musical debut, as the tween has  previously featured on Kanye’s collaboration album with Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures.

On the Talking/Once Again track, she can be heard rapping: ‘It’s your bestie. Miss, Miss Westy!’

‘Don’t tryna test me. It’s gonna get messy. Just, just bless me. Bless me!’

North starred in the music video which was released on February 7 alongside the two famous rappers.

North West exuded confidence both in the Talking video and when she performed the song live on December 12 in Sunrise, Florida.
