Her new single is called Infinity, and there was certainly one member of the audience who thought Mariah Carey’s performance went on far too long.

Jennifer Lopez was caught texting on her smartphone during Mariah’s set at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, confirming their long-standing feud.

J-Lo, 45, is seen scrolling on her phone while Mariah, also 45, was on stage, adding further fuel to the rumors of rivalry between the two divas.

The shade is real: Jennifer Lopez was caught texting throughout Mariah's performance at the Billboard Awards on Sunday night in Las Vegas

Last year, J-Lo addressed the feud, but tried to deny her part in any shade being thrown between them.

She told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live: ‘I know from back in the day, I’ve read things that she’s said about me that were not the greatest, but we have never met.’

Adding: ‘Like, we don’t know each other. I think it’s kind of from word of mouth of things that have happened in the past that I’m not really aware of. But I don’t know.’

This one is NOT for you J-Lo: Mariah Carey (seen above performing at the Billboard Awards) has previously thrown shade at Jennifer Lopez in interviews

‘It saddens me to hear anything that’s negative because I’m a fan of hers,’ she concluded.

Meanwhile Mariah has never been kind when discussing J-Lo in interviews. In one famous YouTube clip, she is seen ignoring a question about her altogether.

While when asked if there was rivalry between them, and in the industry by Larry King, Mariah replied: ‘There’s rivalry, but I don’t think she has anything to do with me.’

Not a fan? J-Lo initially looked a little stony-faced as Mariah took to the stage

‘My whole thing is singing, writing songs, and I’ve been doing this my whole life. [Singing] is a God-given talent that I’m grateful for, her thing is somethin’ different.’

Mariah is currently performing her residency at Caesars Palace, and next year J-Lo is set to compete with her as she also takes up a stint in Las Vegas.

In 2012, Mariah replaced Jennifer as a judge on American Idol, which only lasted for one season before Jennifer was asked back on the panel.

When Jennifer performed on Idol in 2013, it was noted that Mariah was the only judge not to give her a standing ovation.
