Travis Kelce and Roger Goodell talking at Super Bowl
Super Bowl LVIII came down to the wire but it was the Kansas City Chiefs who were able to pull out a victory.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had a slow start to the night as he only had one catch in the first half. After just one catch in the first half, Kelce finished with nine catches for 93 yards – leading the Chiefs in receiving.

He nearly had the game-winning touchdown but was stopped a few yards short. Patrick Mahomes then found Mecole Hardman for the deciding score in overtime.

After the game, it was meet and greet time.

Hot mics picked up a conversation between Kelce and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell:

“Back to back, baby,” Kelce told Goodell. “That’s another echelon.”

“Back to back is…” Goodell interjected.

“That’s a different tier,” Kelce added.

“It is,” Goodell responded.

The future Hall of Fame tight end made his mark when the Chiefs needed it most in the overtime win against the 49ers.

The star tight end picked up his third Super Bowl ring.

Kelce’s three Super Bowl victories are the most ever by a Bearcat. His 31 career Super Bowl receptions rank second in NFL history behind only Jerry Rice and his 350 receiving yards rank fourth. Kelce is a five-time All-Pro honoree, including this past season.

He will no doubt still be a factor at his advanced age for however long he continues to play. Once his career is over, he will likely still be in a budding relationship with pop star Taylor Swift which has made him even more famous.

That fame will lead to off the field opportunities that he is already working on.
