Justin Timberlake will have to bring sexy back to London at a later date, as he’s still battling the flu.

The superstar was supposed to perform a one-night-only concert at London’s Roundhouse venue on Friday, but he announced the show’s cancellation in a video shared to his Instagram Story on Thursday, letting fans know his flu symptoms have worsened since its onset earlier this month.

“Hi everybody,” began Timberlake, 43, through a raspy voice in a selfie-style video. “This is an unfortunate video to have to send out, but I’m sure you can tell from the sound of things that I am not going to be able to make it to the show on Friday, which I’m gutted about.”

He told fans he’d been “in London all week” ahead of the concert but started to feel worse following a TV appearance earlier this week. “As you may or may not know, I’ve been battling some kind of bug,” explained the *NSYNC alum.

“I thought I was getting better, but it just took a turn for the worse. We almost didn’t make it to [The Graham Norton Show], but was able to power through,” added Timberlake. “This morning I woke up just feeling worse than ever.”

The “Rock Your Body” performer is already set to return to London for a concert at the O2 Arena in August as part of his upcoming Forget Tomorrow World Tour, but he expressed desire to make up the Roundhouse show as well.

“All I can say is maybe next time when we come into town, I’ll be able to make it up to you and we can rock the Roundhouse one more time,” said Timberlake. “But for now, I feel terrible. I hope none of you get this flu. Thanks, love you guys, and I’ll see you next time.”

Earlier this month, the Trolls Band Together star revealed he’d come down with the flu in an Instagram video of himself performing an acoustic rendition of his recent single “Selfish” through less-than-perfect vocal conditions.

“Still getting over the flu which makes it silly to sing so excuse the raspy voice but messing around with an acoustic version of SELFISH,” Timberlake wrote in his caption.

The Grammy winner is currently gearing up to release his new album Everything I Thought It Was on March 15. He released its latest single “Drown” on Friday.
