It is finally official. All the rumors and statements about Novak Djokovic missing the upcoming Miami Open turned out to be completely true. Various journalists and former tennis players have stated this news, which has now turned out to be true. With a heavy heart, the Serbian announced his withdrawal from the Miami Open.

The second tournament, part of the Sunshine Double, had some of the best fans worldwide, who would watch as Djokovic broke records in the stadium. The multi-time champion has announced his absence this year, given his age and form.

In a recent post on X, the Serbian announced his decision to pull out, stating that he is at the point in his career where he has to balance his personal and professional life.

Being a father himself, Novak Djokovic has opened up about juggling between personal and professional life in many of his past interviews. As per the World No. 1 himself, at such a crucial stage of his career, he is trying his best to balance out both aspects of his life, and therefore he would be missing out on competing in Miami.

He lost to Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals at the Australian Open and later lost to another Italian, Luca Nardi, at the Indian Wells.

Notably, this was one of his worst losses, as he failed to bring his level to the match. As many tennis experts have stated, Djokovic has to get his head back in the game. Rightly so, the Serbian has pulled out of the Miami Open to balance his life.

At the time of writing, there is no further announcement, and the fans are left clueless about Djokovic’s schedule in the future. However, there is a long way to go, and the Serbian may return in the clay season in time for the French Open. With a family to take care of, the Serbian is making time for them as well and is forced to make tough decisions like this withdrawal for stability.
