It’s on me! Eminem promoted his new flick Bodies in the best possible way after booking out a cinema in Detroit to allow fans from his hometown to see the movie for free this weekend
Announcing his generous act on Instagram on Thursday, the Lose Yourself hitmaker wrote: ‘Come through and get #BODIED! I bought out the theatre, so tickets on me for the Friday + Saturday @BodiedMovie 6:40pm screenings at the AMC 30 in Sterling Heights.’
Eminem – real name Marshall Mathers – is a co-executive producer on the new movie, which is helmed by Joseph Kahn and written by Alex Larsen (who raps under the name Kid Twist).
The movie stars Calum Worthy as Adam, a young graduate student who is writing a thesis on rap battles, but ends up discovering a new passion for it along the way.
It also stars Jackie Long, Shoniqua Shondai, Walter Perez and Charlamagne Tha God.

Earlier this week, Frank Barwah, another co-executive producer on the movie, told Dailymail.com that Eminem is ‘one of the hardest working people I have ever met.
‘He is very serious and is always thinking, he is so focused. There is nothing crazy about this guy at all.’
When asked about the rapper’s wild public image and his outspoken ways, Frank said: ‘I didn’t see any of that. Never. He is very interested in his work. There is nothing weird or wild about him.
