Check out this awesome Instagram post from the NFL and Nickelodeon! It features cartoon versions of Raiders and Chiefs players, and guess who’s at the bottom right? Travis Kelce, crafting what seems to be a friendship bracelet. Rumor has it, these bracelets were exchanged by fans attending his girlfriend, Taylor Swift’s, “Eras Tour” this year. How cool is that?

In the advertisement, Kelce is depicted sitting cross-legged on the ground, engrossed in crafting a bracelet, with several more scattered nearby.

Back in July, Kelce hinted at a potential connection between him and the “Cruel Summer” singer during an interview. He revealed that he attempted to give her his phone number and a bracelet when he attended her tour at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t communicate before or after her shows because she needs to preserve her voice for the 44 songs she performs. So I was a little bummed out that I didn’t get the chance to give her one of the bracelets I made for her,” he shared on his “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.

“You made her a bracelet?” his brother inquired, intrigued.

Taylor Swift fan Emma Sadeghi, of Glendale, shows her friendship bracelets as she arrives at the emporarily renamed "Speak Now/Taylor's Station", at the Downtown Inglewood Metro K Line station to transfer to a free shuttle bus from Downtown Inglewood Station to SoFi stadium to see Taylor Swift perform her first of six sold-out "Eras Tour" shows in Inglewood Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023.

“Yeah. If you’re familiar with Taylor Swift concerts, there’s a tradition of exchanging friendship bracelets, and I received several of them while I was there. But I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” Kelce explained.

And it turned out to be a game-changer. Swift herself acknowledged that this was the starting point of their relationship.

“This all began when Travis charmingly mentioned me on his podcast, which I thought was incredibly cool,” she shared with Time magazine in a story for her recognition as the 2023 Person of the Year.

“We began spending time together right after that,” she revealed. “So we had a substantial period where nobody knew, which I appreciate because it allowed us to really get to know each other. By the time I attended that first game, we were already a couple.”

Since then, Swift has become a regular presence at Chiefs games, whether they’re at home or away. She’s often spotted during the games, becoming as much of a fixture as the pigskin itself.

Swift faced boos when she appeared on the Jumbotron during the recent Chiefs’ visit to the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

“They displayed Taylor at the game, and it’s not often you witness an entire home team’s fan base erupt for someone sporting the opposing team’s colors,” Kelce shared on his podcast. “It just goes to show how incredible she is. The crowd went absolutely wild when she appeared on the screen.”

Despite the chilly reception, Swift remains unfazed.

“I’m just there to support Travis,” she explained to Time regarding her frequent appearances on camera during games. “I’m not aware if I’m being shown too much and upsetting a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
