During Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Travis Kelce, the Chiefs tight end and co-host alongside his older brother, retired Eagles center Jason Kelce, discussed his recent world travels. He revealed that he had the opportunity to visit the world’s largest glass greenhouse while in Asia.

“It was scorching hot in Singapore because it’s right in the middle of summer over there. It felt like it was a hundred degrees outside, and then you’d step into this chilly room set at around 70 degrees, where they were blasting air conditioning to keep the plants cool.

“It was really delightful to walk in there and spend time surrounded by all those incredible plants.

“So yeah, I got to experience that. Also caught two amazing shows of the Eras Tour – the last ones before Taylor takes a break for a couple of months.

“Got to enjoy some delicious Singaporean cuisine and take in the breathtaking views. The architecture is mind-blowing, especially the Marina Bay Sands hotel with its boat-like structure balanced on three pillars. That place is just as impressive as people say.

“And everything around that hotel is top-notch too. I was particularly surprised by how well-lit the streets were. You’ve got the regular street lights, but then the buildings and even the bus stops are all lit up beautifully.

“We don’t have that level of detail in America. Everything there just seems so high-tech and meticulously planned out.”

Although Kelce didn’t specifically mention it, the Flower Dome glasshouse at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore holds the Guinness World Record as the largest glass greenhouse. According to the venue’s official website, it has a volume equivalent to 75 Olympic-size swimming pools.

Aside from exploring the sights, Kelce had the opportunity to witness two incredible shows of the Eras Tour. The tour will take a break until May 9, when Swift, aged 34, will commence the European leg in Paris.

Kelce, who has been in a relationship with Swift since last summer, was spotted dancing with friends at the pop star’s Eras Tour performances at the National Stadium. Later, he met her backstage for a post-show embrace.

Before heading to Singapore, Kelce showed his support for Swift in Sydney, Australia, where she performed in late February.

Asked where he preferred between Sydney or Singapore, Kelce replied: ‘Ooo man, that’s a tough sell.

‘I loved them both, man. I really loved them both. I want to see more of Australia, I feel I got to see a little bit more of Singapore so I’m going to say Singapore was a little more interesting for sure.

‘I was only in Australia for a couple hours.’

Taylor Swift will take the Eras Tour to Europe this spring.

Upon wrapping her shows in Singapore, Swift returned stateside for Oscars weekend.
