In the most recent episode of Garth Brooks’ Inside Studio G, which aired on February 20, the country music veteran invited Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, to attend the official opening of Brooks’ Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk in Nashville on March 7.

This invitation follows Kelce’s remarkable rendition of “Friends in Low Places” at the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory parade on February 14th, during which the Super Bowl champion demonstrated his singing abilities despite appearing to have had too much to drink beforehand.Watch video: Travis Kelce attending Garth Brooks' Nashville bar grand opening - Football Blog

“Have you seen Travis Kelce’s version of ‘Friends in Low Places?’ Have you seen him sing this? “I loved it, I thought it was fantastic,” Brooks stated in the episode.

“It blew me away because I was sitting there watching it go down, correct? “I never expected that.”

In fact, Garth Brooks was so thrilled with Kelce’s performance that he offered to send a jet to bring Kelce and his football friends to Nashville to play the Country song at his bar’s grand opening. Brooks had planned not to attend the opening, but now says he will if Travis Kelce decides to make an appearance.Watch video: Travis Kelce attending Garth Brooks' Nashville bar grand opening - Football Blog

“Big man, I am just telling you this. “I’ll be at the grand opening if you’re there,” he said. “I’ll send a jet if you want another chance at the crown. If you want to come and sing it, I will send an aircraft. You can come alone or with your brother or gang, whichever you like. Remember that the plane has a capacity of 11. So, certainly, I’ll gladly send you this invitation if you like to test out a little “Friends in Low Places” in Friends in Low Places.”
