Megan Thee Stallion debuted the electrifying music video for her new track Hiss on Friday.

The 28-year-old rapper looked incredible as she flaunted her figure in a variety of jaw-dropping ensembles for the snake-themed track, which comes a few months after her Cobra single.

The clip begins with the entertainer emerging from an egg, after which she starts spewing lyrics about legal battles with Tory Lanez, her choice in bedroom partners and dissing rap rivals.

One such line appears to have reignited her feud with Nicki Minaj as Megan sings, ‘These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law,’ referring to the US law requiring law enforcement to share information about registered sex offenders with the public.

The lyric appeared to be a dig at Nicki’s husband Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender after pleading guilty at age 16 to attempted rape.

Nicki wasted no time in firing back, as she jumped on Instagram Live to tell Megan to, ‘conjure up her mother and apologize’ while also bashing her for the Tory Lane shooting.

‘You let just everyone be thrown under the bus. You let Da Baby be thrown under the bus, Tory (Lanez), your best friend, your mom. You better go conjure up your mother and say… and apologize,’ Minaj said on the IG live session.

Megan’s mother, Holly Thomas, passed away in March 2019 from a cancerous brain tumor.

Nicki also teased a new song containing a diss for Megan.

Referencing the 2020 shooting that wounded Megan’s feet — and for which Tory Lanez was imprisoned — she raps: ‘Bad b*** she like six foot, I call her Big Foot/ The bitch fell off, I said get up on your good foot.’

Nicki also said during the broadcast: ‘You have three Grammys and you have to learn how to rap on the beat and be comfortable in the music,’ before doing an impression of Megan rapping in a thick Southern drawl and cackling.

The fiery exchanges didn’t stop there.

Nicki continued the banter on X by showcasing a photo of her manicured feet.

In response, Megan took to her Instagram Stories, sharing a picture of herself in fits of laughter, as if unbothered by the attacks.

Reactions poured in from fans on X, formerly Twitter, as they made it known whether they were Team Nicki or Team Megan.

One wrote ‘Live footage of Nicki Minaj losing it after Megan Thee Stallion whacked her on ‘HISS’, with a clip from Means Girl where they create a burn book.

Another posted, ‘I’m sorry… I love Megan but this is Rap and Nicki Minaj just gained some new respect from me because sis is not scared to be direct with it.’

Some followers were simply here for the feud, writing ‘Megan vs Nicki at last, A REAL RAP BEEF. Y’all can keep that Latto vs Ice Spice bs.’ as another posted ‘thoroughly enjoying this Nicki x Megan beef.’

The tension between the female rappers was also evident when Nicki released her Pink Friday 2 album in December, as the lyrics seemingly contained shots at Megan and Iggy Azalea.

Megan had a falling out with Iggy over a failed collaboration in 2019.

‘Stay in your Tory lane, b*tch, I’m not Iggy,’ Nicki rapped over the ATL Jacob-produced track.

While the exact starting point of the feud between the superstars remains unclear, many fans believe that their relationship soured when Nicki claimed in September 2022 that Megan had advised her to get an abortion.

During her Queen Radio show, Nicki accused an unnamed individual of suggesting she terminate her pregnancy at the abortion clinic after declining their offer for an alcoholic drink.
