Katt Williams Explains Why He Got Taken Down by a Teenager (Video)

Katt Williams has finally broken his silence on the bizarre incident that saw him get put into a chokehold by a teenager.

During a stand-up set at the Barclay’s Center in New York on Friday night, Williams explained his side of the story to the audience.

Williams claims that he was playing a friendly soccer game with some kids in Gainesville, Georgia, when one of the boys, identified as 17-year old Luke Walsh by Vibe, began trash-talking Williams on the field.

“I said, ‘Listen, you know I’m in trouble with the motherf—ing law. You see all these people recording? But just understand if I can take your ass around this motherf—ing corner, I’ll explain to you that you don’t talk to grown ni–as like that.”

Williams walked away, but Walsh followed him, the comedian said. Williams sat down against an apartment building wall to show Walsh that he didn’t want to fight, but Walsh continued to provoke him, according to Williams.

“I say to myself let me stand up and let this ni–a see that even though we’re the same size, you’re a little boy. I’m a grown-ass man. I can hit you with this broken fist and get blood, I just want you to have a bloody mouth so that you can have that lesson later,” he said.

“That’s what happens when you say slick sh-t to grown-ass men because maybe them ni–as can’t teach you that, but a ni–a that can hit you is also a ni–a that can pull out a gun and blow your motherf—ing brains out. Why would you put yourself in that position just because you lost a soccer game?”

The fight was the latest in a string of bad press for Williams. Last week, he was slapped with a lawsuit by a woman who claims she received a severe beatdown while visiting his home.

In the suit, filed March 17 in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Jamila Majesty says she was invited to Williams’ Malibu, California, home, only to be “imprisoned” and “tortured” in his bathroom.

Majesty claims that a group of Williams’ “female companions/housemates” who were also at the home descended on her and punched her during a beating that went on for three hours, after Williams became angry that she used his bathroom.

Earlier this month, Williams jumped onstage at a rap show in Philadelphia, only to take a swing at somebody and then getting beaten down himself.

And in late February, Williams was arrested for allegedly assaulting an employee at a pool store in Gainesville, Georgia.
