BRITNEY Spears has shared a new video of herself dancing in lingerie and “transforming” into a new character.

The 90s pop star has been keeping her Instagram feed updated since releasing her tell-all memoir, The Woman in Me, in October.

For her most recent post, the Toxic singer showed off her toned figure as she danced around her bedroom in her $7.9million mansion.

Britney, 42, was seen rocking a dark red, lacy lingerie bra top with a polka dot pattern.

She matched the bra with a pair of barely-there black underwear, which featured thin bands on the side and a low-rise design.

Britney filmed herself in the mirror as she smiled and rubbed her hands along the garments.

To add a pop of flair, the Circus singer wore a black top hat and a pair of matching elbow-length gloves.

In her caption, the author claimed she was embodying a new character.

“Put the hat and gloves on and immediately turned into character!!! Sandra Cummings possibly???” she wrote.

The celebrity opted to turn off comments on the post.

THE WOMAN IN ME

While Britney is no stranger to dancing around in minimal clothing on social media, fans saw her “strip down” in a different way with the release of her brand-new memoir.

She released the 288-page autobiography in October, detailing her life’s traumas and battles throughout her career.

In a recent post on Instagram, Britney opened up about the process of writing the best-selling book.

“I started writing my book two years ago and in those moments in my personal life, I kept to myself !!! Not only was my personal life kept secret, but it felt equivalent to 20 years of hard times that I wrote about in my book !!!” she said.

She continued: “Can you imagine a 2007 that lasted for three years that nobody even knows about ??? It’s over now and I’m incredibly sad about those times !!! It’s weird cause although I do Instagram, I don’t follow social media, the news, and the fan chatter !!!”

In her autobiography, she recalls spending time in a mental health facility and says it almost broke her.

She wrote: “How had I managed not to kill myself in that place? Almost anyone else in my situation would have.”

Britney was placed under a conservatorship by her dad Jamie in 2008, and the legal hold removed her ability to make decisions about her professional and personal life.

Britney also spilled details on past partners in her book, which could have also been part of the Instagram reference.

Britney claimed she got an abortion while dating NSYNC frontman Justin Timberlake, 42, and accused him of being unfaithful to her during their time together in the early 2000s.

The singer claimed Justin supported her decision to get the abortion and even pushed her into doing it, but added that she later regretted it.

The pop star also revealed that after the “love of her life” split up with her via text in 2002, he traveled to her home in Louisiana to hand her a letter he had written.
