Jennifer Aniston has lifted the lid on the special meaning behind her wrist tattoo.

The “11 11” inking etched inside her wrist is an exact match for her best friend Andrea Bendewald’s tattoo in the same place.

Their matching tattoos have been an emblem and celebration of their flourishing friendship over the years.

They have been firm friends for 37 years and never looked back.

Not many people know Jen has this tattoo as she covers it up a lot for her acting work.

However, the actress drove fans wild when she flaunted it last year during an interview.

It emerged again when Jen shared a series of birthday tributes to one of her closest friends.

Among her tributes included reposting a picture of their twinning tattoos which her best friend had previously shared.

The Hollywood beauty described her pal as her “oldest friend” in a fond mention in a New York Times interview.

Fans may recognise Andrea from her appearance in Friends’ episode “The One With the Cheap Wedding Dress”.

In the light of her tattoo, a source previously told PEOPLE Jen is “very spiritual”.

It’s also claimed she believes numbers can bring people good luck.

Double 11s have been considered signs of guardian angels putting a person on the right path, according to Vanity Fair.

February 11 is also her birthday.

Sadly her pooch Norman also died in 2011.

It isn’t her only tattoo with a special meaning.

Jen also has an inking on her foot which has a meaning close to her heart.

It’s the name of her late dog Norman which she got after her dog died.

His name is immortalised in beautiful typography up the arch of Jen’s right foot in 2011.

It’s not known when she first got the foot tattoo.

However, fans first spied the inking towards the end of 2018.
