Khloe Kardashian took to her Instagram stories to wish her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson a happy birthday on Wednesday.

She posted two heartwarming photos of the Cleveland Cavaliers star. One was with their children True and Tatum, and another with his younger brother.

In the first photo of the family opening gifts on the dining room floor, she wrote, ‘Happy Birthday’ as she tagged him.

‘Your mommy is proud of you. Happy birthday,’ she added on a second photo of him and his 17 year-old brother Amari who has epilepsy.

The caption is a reference to the NBA star’s mother, Andrea, who passed in her Toronto home of a heart attack January of last year.

Thompson is officially the legal guardian of Amari. According to court documents obtained by TODAY.com, a judge in Los Angeles County Superior Court granted Thompson’s request for guardianship of Amari on Feb. 26, 2024.

Khloe and Tristan were first linked in the summer of 2016 when they were spotted at LA’s Bootsy Bellows nightclub.

In a 2017 interview, the Good American co-founder said they met via a blind date set up by their mutual friend, Brandon Jennings, and was reluctant at the time.

October of that same year, the pair went Instagram official in a romantic Halloween post where the two posed as Marvel’s Storm and the Black Panther.

April of 2018, the 33 year-old Canada native fathered his almost six year-old daughter, True, with the reality star until their world came crashing down.

At the time, a source revealed that ‘Khloé carried his child and is much more in the limelight than he is, and she doesn’t think he understands the consequences of his decisions

In February 2019, TMZ reported that he cheated again kissing Jordyn Woods, a close family friend. Woods, then best friend of Kylie Jenner, confirmed it in a Red Table Talk.

In 2022, Kardashian had her son Tatum via surrogate and changed his last name to Thompson over a year after his birth.

The 39-year-old businesswoman was previously married to NBA star Lamar Odom from 2009 to 2016.

After one month of dating, they said ‘I do’ but could not make it last as they quietly separated in 2013 amid cheating rumors.

The reality star put a three year pause on signing the official divorce because of his near-fatal overdose in a Las Vegas brothel.
