Caitlyn Jenner shares the ‘sad’ truth about her relationship with ex-wife Kris Jenner

Nearly 10 years after they announced their separation, Caitlyn Jenner is opening up about her relationship with her ex Kris Jenner.

The two reality stars were married for 22 years, but in 2013 the couple announced they were going their separate ways. The following year they finalized their divorce.

“We are living apart,” Kris told US Weekly in October 2013. “But there is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family. We ended a marriage, but that’s not the end of our friendship. I will always love him, but we are no longer a couple in that way. We are happier this way.”

However, a recent interview with on a daytime talkshow suggests the two no longer get along.

While appearing on This Morning, a U.K. talkshow, Caitlyn, 73, was questioned about her former partner.

“Kris I really never talk to anymore,” Caitlyn said. “It’s sad… If there’s any communications, Sophia Hutchins, she’s my manager, she runs the show.”

She explained she’s no longer as close to “the Kardashian side,” adding, “when you have as many kids as I have, you’re closer to some than you are to others.”

Kris and Caitlyn share two daughters, Kylie Jenner, 26, and Kendall Jenner, 27. She was also a parent to Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe.

Caitlyn clarified that she “certainly” sees the daughters she raised with Kris, but tends to spend more time with the “Jenner side, you know, with Brandon and Brody and my son Burt, my daughter Casey.”

In April 2022, Kris told ABC News’ Robin Roberts the former couple was cordial.

“We’re fine. We’re friends. I see her when she’s at a family thing. It’s settled down a lot.”

But, at least now, Caitlyn seems to disagree.

“But Kris, I really don’t have anymore contact with her,” she added. “It’s kinda sad, because we went through a lot… [but] there’s just a lot there, you know?”
