Kim Kardashian may be in the midst of divorcing husband Kanye West but it appears that her sister Khloe will always view the rapper as family.

In a sweet Instagram post to commemorate the star turning 44, Khloe claimed the Grammy award-winning singer is her “brother for life” as she wished him a happy birthday on social media.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star shared a throwback picture of herself, partner Tristan Thompson, sister Kim and the birthday boy, Kanye posing in the sea during happier times together.

Captioning the sweet snap, the mum-of-one wrote: “Happy birthday to my brother for life!!! Have the best birthday Ye! Sending you love and endless blessings!!”

The reality TV star shared her birthday wishes to her brother-in-law with her 153 million Instagram followers.

The post comes after Kim broke down in tears on a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians over her split from the father of her four children.

Viewers of the hit reality TV series, which is in it’s final ever season, watch the 40-year-old pour her heart out to sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner as she admitted to feeling like a failure for her marriage woes.

“I honestly can’t do this anymore, why am I still in this, like, place where I’m stuck for years?” She cried on-screen.

“Like, he goes and moves to a different state, every year, I have to be together so I can raise the kids, you know? And he’s an amazing dad, he’s done an amazing job.”

She went on to add: “I feel like a f****** failure, that it’s like, a third f****** marriage. I feel like a f****** loser. But I can’t even think about that like, I want to be happy.”

The student lawyer was referencing her husband’s move from their family home in California to his ranch in Wyoming.

In the same episode, sister Khloe spoke about the toll the split had taken on Kim.

Speaking during filming in 2020, the 36-year-old said: ” Kim is one of the most incredible human beings, literally ever, and she tries to protect their union at all costs, but it’s hard when you carry that responsibility on your shoulders and I just want her to take care of herself too.”

The reality TV icon started dating her longtime friend Kanye back in April 2012 while she was still legally married to her second husband, Kris Humphries.

Just months after her divorce was finalised, the talented rapper popped the question to Kim on her 33rd birthday and the loved-up pair were married on May 24, 2014 with a fairytale wedding in Italy.

The now separated couple share four children together – daughters North, seven, and Chicago, three, and sons Saint, five, and Psalm, two.
