KRIS Jenner has struggled to hold back her tears while discussing Tristan Thompson’s hardships following a family tragedy.

The Hulu star broke down in an emotional scene on Thursday’s season three finale of The Kardashians.

It happened when Kris sat down with Tristan, 32, and her daughters, Kim, 42, and Khloe, 39, to talk about how the family stepped in to help the NBA star after his mother’s sudden death.

Tristan’s mom, Andrea, passed away in January from a heart attack, leaving the athlete to become the caregiver to his mentally disabled teenage brother, Amari.

Kim, Khloe, and Tristan immediately jetted to Andrea’s home in Toronto, Canada, via Kim’s private jet to sort out her apartment and make arrangements for Amari to live with them in Calabasas, California.

Khloe also mentioned during the scene that Tristan and Amari were living in her $17million mansion amid renovations on Tristan’s new home.

The former Chicago Bulls star – who shares two children, True, five, and Tatum, one, with Khloe – praised the family for their support throughout the transition, bringing momager Kris to tears.

“You know your mom had a lot on her plate, and to be able to be Amari’s sole caregiver like really affected me so much, and that just broke my heart because Amari doesn’t know what’s going on, and then all of a sudden you’re stripped from the caretaker you’ve had your whole life,” the 67-year-old cried.

“I just feel so lost for him because he’s probably wondering where his mommy went, and it breaks my heart.”

Tristan again thanked his children’s grandmother and noted that they were taking things day by day.

Khloe split with Tristan a year earlier after news broke of his affair with fitness trainer Maralee Nichols, 33.

Tristan and Maralee welcomed a now 19-month-old son, Theo, although he hasn’t been a part of the tot’s life.

He has, however, been very involved in the lives of his two kids, whom he shares with Khloe, and has made that known on social media.

BIRTHDAY BACKLASH

Earlier this week, Tristan shared adorable snapshots on Instagram of his son Tatum in honor of his first birthday.

In one snap, the Los Angeles Lakers star wrapped his arms around the toddler as he carried him, each sporting sunglasses as they smiled at one another.

In the next photo, Tatum placed his hand on his father’s cheek.

Tristan captioned the lengthy post: “You are a reminder of what life represents to me.

“You have taught me every loss comes a lesson, and you are my gift. You are my reminder of all of God’s messages.”

He concluded: “Tatum, your sweet soul reminds me of God’s grace.

“You are a future king, my son, and I am so blessed to be your DaDa!”

Critics slammed Tristan for celebrating Tatum’s first birthday but not recognizing the special day of his love child, Theo.

“Recognize your love child too, you low life!” one person harshly said as another added: “You are shameless.”

A third mentioned: “… Is he for real?” while a fourth chimed in: “You need to be ‘A Dad’ to all your children. You don’t deserve this baby.”

And one more commented: “No matter how that other baby was made, he is still yours and deserves a father… You need to man up, sir.”

ABSENT FATHER

Tristan reportedly told Maralee that he’s not interested in getting to know their son and has kept his distance from the pair.

According to legal documents from August 2022, Tristan offered to pay Maralee $75,000 in hush money instead of paying monthly child support.

He allegedly told Maralee that she would be better off with $75,000 because she would not get much from him for child support.

When the two eventually settled their paternity case, the court ordered the Canada native to pay about $9,500 per month in child support.

In addition to his little ones with Khloe and Maralee, Tristan is a father to a six-year-old son, Prince, with his ex, Jordan Craig, 31.
