It is official: Rihanna is going to perform in India! However, reservations are not available for this performance as it is a private wedding ceremony for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The three-day celebration, held from March 1–3 at the lavish Ambani Estate in Jamnagar, Gujarat, is essentially Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son’s pre-wedding celebration; the formal wedding is scheduled for July.

Rihanna was serious when she sang Better Have My Money in 2015. The Barbadian singer, 36, is in Jamnagar, Gujarat, for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebration. And, according to the Daily Mail, she is getting paid a whopping amount of money to perform at the esteemed occasion.

The Umbrella hitmaker reportedly received £5 million ($6.3 million) in compensation for performing at the nuptials. Ambani has previously paid a substantial amount of money to Hollywood singers to perform.

The Ambanis reportedly spent an astounding £120 million ($151 million) on the festivities, according to the Daily Mail. Mukesh Ambani reportedly paid Beyoncé $6 million for a private concert she gave for guests at his daughter’s 2018 wedding.

Although Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky were photographed arriving in Jamnagar recently, it was her massive ‘luggage’ that made headlines as it arrived first.
