Davis won the NBA title with the Celtics in 2008.
The 6-foot-9, 289-pound Davis earned $32 million throughout his career.
In 2016, after playing for the Los Angeles Clippers for one-and-a-half-seasons, Davis put his NBA career “on hold” to make a move into the field production field.
The specifics of Davis’ post-NBA retirement job was never revealed, until now.
On Monday, the 38-year-old posted on Instagram a picture of himself with two unidentified women who were donning revealing bikinis.
And Davis made it seem that he used to film porn movies as he wrote the caption, “That one time I used to shoot pornos ! I really used to like that job!!” followed by a number of laughing emojis.
After receiving criticism in the comments about the post, Davis revealed on Instagram that he was “just watching and admiring and getting good shots” and admitting it was “just an experience in my life.”
During his college basketball tenure with Louisiana State, Davis led the team to the 2006 NCAA Championship game.
He entered the NBA with the Seattle Supersonics in the 2007 NBA Draft.
Davis was part of a blockbuster trade as he along with Ray Allen were sent to the Celtics.
And Davis averaged 4.5 points during his rookie season as he’d be Boston’s NBA championship team.
He’d play for the Celtics for four seasons and was a contributor to the team’s multiple playoff runs.
Boston traded Davis to the Orlando Magic in 2011.
He scored a career-high 15.1 points per game in the following season with the Magic.
Davis signed with the Clippers in 2014 where he played his final one-and-a-half seasons in the NBA.
The eight-year NBA veteran finished with 4,111 points, 2,236 rebounds, and 457 assists in his career.
