The Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has recently given his opinion on the NBA MVP conversation. The Bucks have lost three of their previous matches and the Greek Freak is now feeling the frustration of his team’s current status.

The sudden change in the coaching has affected the Bucks a lot. The team that started the season dominating everyone else is now struggling to win games. Giannis had previously expressed his strong desire to win and he would not be happy with how things have been going.

Giannis shares his opinion on NBA MVP

Bucks ace Giannis has expressed his take on the NBA MVP conversation. Sam Ammick, Senior NBA writer for The Athletic has revealed his statements on the situation. According to Sam, “I am confident in the work that I have put in, and I can live with the outcome… I feel like I am the worst player in the NBA. I will be honest with you. I feel like in a moment, all this can be taken away from me,” said Giannis.

The Greek Freak has not been able to win games lately. The Bucks have failed to show the dominance they showed during the start of the season. Many people believe that it is because of the change in coaching hands. Earlier this season, The Bucks decided to sack their successful manager Adrian Griffin. Veteran coach Doc Rivers was brought in as his replacement, however, ever since Doc’s arrival the situation of the Bucks has gotten worse. The fans are also getting restless after seeing their team suffer defeat after they’d dominated at the start of the season. However, Giannis and the fans have no choice but to trust Doc and hope that things get better.

Is Giannis Antetokounmpo’s MVP worthy this season?

The star forward of the Milwaukee Bucks has been an absolute beast this season as well. The Greek freak has not failed to live up to his nickname, he is averaging 30.8 points 11.2 rebounds, and 6.4 assists this season. He has a 61.5% field goal accuracy this season and is a key player for his team.

Whether his performance is MVP level this season is a debatable topic. Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is his prime rival this season for the honor. Jokic has been averaging 26.0 points this season which is lower than Giannis’ stat. However, he surpassed the Bucks star in terms of rebounds and assists. Jokic is averaging 12.3 rebounds and 9.2 assists this season. The Nuggets on the other hand have successfully kept up their dominance, unlike the Bucks.

Giannis Anetokounmpo will have to wait for his team to get back on winning track if he hopes to win the honor this season. Whether he will win it or not is an answer the fans will have to wait to find out.
