The San Francisco 49ers quarterback addressed his defeat on social media

Brock Purdy at the Super Bowl

After only his second season in the NFL, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has gone through one of the most interesting starts of a career for any player in NFL history. Initially, he started by taking his team to the conference finals as a rookie but got injured in the process. An injury that threatened to prevent hm from playing his second consecutive season fully healed. But Purdy wen’t through a miraculous recovery process that led him to have another spectacular season. Only this time, Brock led his team to his first-ever Super Bowl. Despite losing against the Kansas City Chiefs, this start of his career has to be regarded as positive and a good omen for what’s to come.

It took him a while to come back to social media but Brock Purdy finally said his first words after losing the Super Bowl last month. He did it through a social media post filled with snap shot from that game against the Chiefs. Both Purdy and the rest of his teammates can rest easy knowing they could’ve won the game, it was a competitive showing from the 49ers. They were up 10 points for a large portion of it but Patrick Mahomes was there to reverse the situation. These types of losses are the ones that teach players the most of how to confront adversity. With Purdy, this is no different than the rest. Here is what he wrote: “Won together and lost together. Did it with my boys. Keep the Faith.”

Now that the season is completely ended, all NFL players are currently enjoying their time off before a new pre-season begins. Brock Purdy didn’t pick up any serious injuries this time so he should be okay to return in due time. When the pre-season camp begins, we will likely see him return with his head held up high and ready to start his third season in the league. Competition amongst quarterbacks will remain fierce, especially knowing that other players who were also injured last season will finally return. It won’t be easy but if Purdy manages to emulate what he did in his first two seasons, we might have a generational players in our hands.
