New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has certainly kept himself in pristine game shape and condition during his recovery from a season-ending Achilles tear he suffered back in September.

The four-time league MVP recently spent some time with well-known outdoorsman and bowhunter Cameron Hanes, a popular social media personality who has more than 470,000 followers on his YouTube page.

On his Instagram page, Hanes posted several photos of himself and Rodgers working out. And as you can see in Hanes’ photos, the 40-year-old Rodgers appears to be in grade-A shape as he continues to work his way back to full health:

Rodgers unfortunately suffered his season-ending injury just minutes into his debut with the Jets against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Rodgers pushed hard to make an improbable return before the conclusion of the regular season, but the future Hall of Famer never got the green light.

The Jets finished 7-10 on the year. They were largely outdone by an unproductive offense that finished 29th in scoring (15.8 points per game). Backup Zach Wilson, the Jets’ primary starter following Rodgers’ injury, is expected to get traded in the coming weeks.

New York acquired Rodgers via trade with the Green Bay Packers last offseason, immediately bringing championship hopes back to Gotham. If Rodgers stays healthy in 2024, perhaps this will be the year the Jets will finally break through with their first Super Bowl title in nearly 60 years.
