According to US Weekly on March 13, the negotiation process between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie was difficult, but both have completed submitting documents related to property division to the court in the past few weeks. A source revealed: “Brad Pitt just wants to continue with his life. For him, this final step is like lifting a burden, definitively ending the relationship.”

According to sources, Angelina Jolie is currently taking care of Shiloh and the twins Vivienne – Knox, who are not yet 18 years old. Brad Pitt is still allowed to visit his children. Maddox, 22 years old, Pax, 20 years old, and Zahara, 19 years old, are adults so do not need guardianship and have the right to decide whether to see their father or not.

An informant for US Weekly said Brad Pitt was not satisfied but accepted it because the result was less bad than Jolie having full custody. However, the actor is disappointed that he cannot see his children often and wants to improve his relationship with them.

After the divorce, Angelina Jolie was allowed to secretly sell shares to her Russian partner. Brad Pitt believes that Angelina does not have legal status because she still retains 60% ownership. The actor said that the agreement to transfer 10% to his ex-wife in 2014 was unofficial, so he wanted to get his assets back and maintain control. The Luxembourg court accepted this point of view and ruled that Brad Pitt could keep 60% of the shares for a year or more until the lawsuit was completely ended.
