On Tuesday, Rumer, 35, took to Instagram to share a tribute post celebrating her father’s birthday.

Rumer is the eldest daughter of Bruce, 69, and his ex-wife, actress Demi Moore, 61.

The ex-couple share two more daughters, Scout, 32, and Tallulah, 30, and the Die Hard actor has another pair of daughters, Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 9, with his wife, Emma Hemming Willis, 45.

The social media post featured numerous throwback photos of Rumer as a child with her movie star father and several more recent photos of the father-daughter pair.

One sweet snapshot captured the Unbreakable actor dressed for the colder months as he leaned his head on Rumer while pointing out into the distance.

The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress hugged her father gently while wearing an oversized yellow cardigan as she looked in the direction Bruce was pointing.

Another recent photo showed Bruce smiling as he stood between Rumer and her younger sister Tallulah.

The Pulp Fiction actor sported a yellow, pork pie hat and a pastel aloha shirt while his daughters wore colorful and flowy spring dresses.

Rumer captioned the post, “Oh Daddio, to be loved by you is such a gift. You are the funniest, most tender, charming, out of this world silly talented and magical papa.”

She continued, “Looking through these photos this morning I am just filled with the deepest gratitude that we chose to spend this life together.”

“I am your first baby and man sometimes I wish I could be tiny enough to just cozy up on your chest again and laugh and cuddle you,” she continued.

“I love you so deep in my bones I don’t know how my muscles hold them. You are the greatest papa I could ever hope for.

“Thank you for your generosity, your silliness and heart. Lou loves you so big.

“Happy Birthday Daddio.”

LOVE AND SUPPORT

Also on Tuesday, Bruce was pictured in two new photos shared by Demi as he celebrated his 69th birthday.

Demi and his family have rallied around the star since his dementia diagnosis, offering a ton of love and support.

To celebrate Bruce’s birthday, Demi made a heartfelt Instagram post featuring a recent photo of her and her ex-husband.

In the snap, The Jackal star can be seen sitting in his living room in a plush gray recliner with his ex-wife seated on the arm of the chair.

His arm was wrapped around Demi, tenderly gripping her upper arm as they chatted.

She, in return, had her hand over his while touching his arm with her other hand.

The Ghost actress captioned the post, “Happy birthday, BW! We love you and are so grateful for you,” adding a white heart emoji.

She also included a photo of Bruce with his grandchild Louetta, Rumer’s first child, and a throwback photo of him with his daughters.

HEALTH UPDATE

On a recent episode of Good Morning America, Demi updated fans about Bruce’s health.

She spoke to George Stephanopoulos about her role as Ann Woodward in FX’s show Feud: Capote vs. The Swans but the spotlight moved to Bruce as George asked for a quick update on the father of her children.

She responded, “I think, given the circumstances, he’s doing very well.

“What I’ll share is what I say to my children, which it’s important to just meet them where they’re at and not hold on to what isn’t, but what is.”

GMA host Michael Strahan replied, “Our thoughts are with him and the whole family.”

In 2022, Bruce retired from acting after being initially diagnosed with aphasia.

Aphasia is a condition that affects the ability to comprehend or formulate language due to damage to areas of the brain.

The following year, in February 2023, it was announced that Willis had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

In a statement, the Willis family explained, “Our family wanted to start by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support, and wonderful stories we have all received since sharing Bruce’s original diagnosis.

“Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD).

“Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces.

“While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”

Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) is the most common form of dementia in people under 60.

The symptoms include personality changes, obsessive behavior, and speaking difficulties.
