Standout wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is getting a fresh start after an up-and-down four-year tenure with the Denver Broncos.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Broncos are trading Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for 2024 fifth and sixth-round draft picks. The soon-to-be 25-year-old has one season remaining on his rookie deal.

The Alabama was widely mentioned as a potential trade candidate following a frustrating 2023 campaign. He finished the year with 54 receptions for 758 yards and two touchdowns, a far cry from the 67-972-6 stat line he had in 2022.

Denver’s major overhaul on offense began earlier this week when they announced their plans to release quarterback Russell Wilson once the new year opens. On top of needing a new starting QB, the Broncos will also need more receiving help with Jeudy gone.
