BREAKING: Jackson Mahomes RECEIVES Sentencing For 2023 Assault Case

The 23-year-old, brother to Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has been mostly low-key since he was taken to task for sexually assaulting a restaurant owner sometime after Super Bowl 57.

Jackson was accused of grabbing the woman, Aspen Vaughn, by the neck and forcibly kissing her. The incident was caught on camera and he was hit with multiple felony charges, however, the charges were dropped after Vaughn stopped cooperating with investigators.

There was one charge still remaining, though, as Mahomes was also charged for assaulting a waiter who attempted to enter the back room where he and Vaughn were at the time.

According to NBC News, Jackson has been sentenced to six months of probation after a guilty plea.

He appeared for sentencing via video conference and was later taken into custody by the Jackson County Sheriff’s office, which will determine whether he is eligible for work release.

Meanwhile, his female accuser backed off the case after her restaurant was vandalized and she received death threats. She was also forced to close her establishment.

The sentencing comes just a few weeks after Patrick Mahomes Sr. was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Texas ahead of the Super Bowl. He was allowed to leave the state to watch Patrick play in Las Vegas.
