On Sunday night, Melissa, 53, was all smiles while strutting her stuff on the Oscars red carpet in an elegant ensemble.
The Little Mermaid actress was all smiles while donning a long-sleeved red dress.
She added a dash of pink to her attire as it was stitched onto her sleeves while more fabric dragged behind her.
She had her brown hair styled to one side and wore minimal but glamorous makeup.
To accessorize her look, Melissa added a silver necklace, earrings, and rings to make her outfit pop.
While presenting with Octavia, many people thought she didn’t do very well.
‘MUTED MY TV’
On X, formerly Twitter, fans shared their honest opinions.
“The Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer monologue was so painful that I had to mute my TV,” one said.
A harsh critic wrote, “I normally love the Oscars, but this year it is awkward, the fashions are not up to par, and Jimmy Kimmel and Melissa McCarthy trying to be funny is just not working.”

Meanwhile, others praised the Hollywood star and her outfit.
“I’ll never get over how gorgeous Melissa McCarthy is,” one fan said.
A second exclaimed, “Melissa McCarthy looks absolutely RADIANT!”
Last month, fans were left wowed at her weight loss transformation after seeing a photo of the star.
Melissa posted several Instagram videos and photos over the past few months looking slimmer-than-ever.

Last month, Melissa showed off her figure while attending the SAG awards.
She posed on the red carpet outside the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California.
The Emmy-winning actress donned a form-fitting metallic-esque dress that showed off her fit figure.
The floor-length dress featured ruffled sleeves that gleamed like chrome as it caught the light from the photographers’ cameras.
Melissa sported full-glam makeup for the Hollywood event and allowed her warm brunette hair to fall naturally over her shoulders.
The Bridesmaids star accessorized the silver ensemble with a matching clutch, diamond rings, and dangly earrings.
‘YOU LOOK SO HAPPY AND HEALTHY’
Fans flooded the comments with admiration for Melissa’s slim figure.
“You look fabulous!!! Both of you are fire,” said one fan.
“Oh my God you look amazing,” added another.
“Damn,” a third simply wrote.

Melissa spoke to People magazine and revealed where she lost her weight.
HER WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY
She admitted that after she landed her role on Gilmore Girls, she attempted a doctor-supervised all-liquid diet, which led her to lose 70 pounds in four months.
“I’d never do that again. I felt starved and crazy half the time,” she said.
Melissa has since reportedly lost around 75 pounds.
She says her weight loss secret has nothing to do with insane diets, calorie restriction, or intense workout regimens.
“I finally said [to myself], ‘Oh for God sakes, stop worrying about it, and it may be the best thing I’ve ever done,” she shared on CBS.
“I truly stopped worrying about [my weight].
“I stopped over-analyzing, over-thinking, over-doing anything…I just stopped constantly being worried about it and I think there’s something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked.”
