For more than three decades, the world has seen several iterations of Batman on the big screen, starting off with Michael Keaton’s classic depiction of the superhero in 1989’s Batman.

From there, several stars made this character a legend in the film industry, and Ben Affleck is now the last actor to play the role in the main cinematic universe before the newly developing DCU chooses a brand new face for The Dark Knight in the future.

When it comes to choosing which is the greatest among the long list of stars who portrayed this character on screen, the discussions can turn into heated debates as stars like Christian Bale and Robert Pattinson will most likely take the top spot.

But according to Basketball legend Stephen Curry, Affleck is and will always be the best and the most amazing actor to have donned the cowl on the big screen, which he let the star know when he was attending the most recent LA Lakers Vs. GS Warriors match.

Despite a plethora of stars who played the role of Batman on the big screen to choose from, fans always seem to disagree with each other’s choices. But according to Stephen Curry, his loyalty lies with none other than Ben Affleck‘s portrayal of the bat vigilante in the now-discontinued DCEU. And when he saw the star in his recent match, the athlete let him and everyone else know it.

During the most recent match between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors,  Curry made his return to the roster after his birthday and scored 31 points for his team, which led to the Warriors winning the match with a total of 128-121 even with LeBron James scoring 40 points for the Lakers (via AP News)

This match was also attended by the Batman V Superman star and his wife Jennifer Lopez, where upon seeing the two among the spectators, Curry shouted out to Affleck, saying “You’re the best Batman, Ben!”

Everyone present in the audience as well as people watching at home heard this, and the expression on Affleck’s face where he looked embarrassed and surprised at the same time after hearing this was a joy to witness.

Who Is The Best Batman?

It’s already well-known at this point that comparing actors playing the role of the World’s Greatest Detective is like comparing apples to oranges, and when it comes to liking one of them, it’s purely subjective.

Despite that, there are still popular opinions about them, as where Batfleck is known to be a calculating and fear-inducing maniac who is brutal and battle-hardened to the core, Christian Bale from The Dark Knight Trilogy is revered for his exceptionally epic and comic-accurate depiction of the superhero with a flair in the subtleties, which made him a complex and larger-than-life Batman to unravel.

On the other hand, Robert Pattinson‘s portrayal of Batman was considered to be raw and rustic with more emphasis on showcasing and developing a young vigilante who is still broken and lost, something that was never truly explored in the film industry before. Thus, a clever execution of this narrative became a major reason for the success of The Batman both critically and commercially.
