Mase Claims Kanye West And Wiz Khalifa Made Their Best Music While Dating Amber Rose

#Socialites, do you agree with Mase? The rapper-turned-podcaster believes that Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa made their best music while they were dating Amber Rose.

 

During a recent episode of his podcast with Cam’ron called ‘It Is What It Is,’ Mase theorized that Amber Rose was the real muse for Ye and Wiz, resulting in them releasing some of the best Hip-Hop music in the last two decades. Amber Rose and Kanye West dated from 2008 to 2010. During this time, Ye had dropped albums ‘808s & Heartbreak‘ and ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.’

After leaving Kanye West, Amber Rose met and began dating Wiz Khalifa a year later in 2011, they got engaged in 2012 and tied the knot in 2013. That same year, they welcomed their son Sebastian Taylor Thomaz. Despite Rose recently telling ‘The Jason Lee Show‘ host Jason Lee that Wiz Khalifa is her soulmate, the two ended up calling it quits on their marriage. They had a very public breakup and divorced in 2014. However, the two remain very good friends and even better co-parents.

During Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa’s time together, the Pittsburgh-repping rapper dropped albums ‘Rolling Papers,’ O.N.I.F.C.‘ and ‘Blacc Hollywood.’ The rapper also dropped a soundtrack album, ‘Mac & Devin Go to High School,’ an EP, ‘Live in Concert,’ and mixtapes, ‘Cabin Fever,’ ‘Cabin Fever 2,’ ‘Taylor Allderdice,’ and ‘28 Grams.’ Mase also brought up 21 Savage making good music when he briefly dated Amber. According to Murda Mase, these rappers all had the creative juices flowing during their years dating the model and TV personality. Would you agree?

While Mase and Cam’ron were talking about Draya Michele, 39, and NBA baller Jalen Green, 22, dating and reportedly expecting a child together, Cam noted how it was interesting that Michele seemingly got pregnant while Green has been killing it on the courts. However, Mase chimed in and said, “She probably turned him up. She’s from Philly. You saw how Amber Rose turned Kanye up. She turned Ye up! So, I’m for this a little bit. Not the age thing., but I’m for her saying, ‘My wh*reness [has] passed away,’ and now she’s found a good guy. That’s the dream come true for a woman, it’s like confirmation that you can get another chance.”

 

Cam’ron tried to agree with Mase but said he didn’t really see how he could compare Draya Michele to Amber Rose while offering a disclaimer that he’s not slandering anyone’s name who is being mentioned. He doesn’t believe Mase’s comments about Rose “turning” Kanye up. He said she kept moving on after supposedly turning Ye up, he kept asking if things were going to work out with Michele and Green.

Mase again said he didn’t agree with Cam and offered supporting evidence. Mase said, “Every time Amber got with somebody, they made the best music of their life. Think of the music Ye was making with her. Think of, ‘Hol’ up, we dem boyz,’ that was when Wiz was with Amber. And 21 did his thing when he was with Amber.”

Cam chimed back in and said, “21 is more popping now. I have to disagree with you. 21 got popping after Amber. And Wiz… the reason I disagree with you, I’m not saying he didn’t make great music when he was with Amber.” Mase continued to stand ten toes down on his claims as Cam’ron further argued that Rose may have helped amplify their creativity, but these rappers were also popping before she got with them.
