Louis Walsh has proved he isn’t afraid to speak his mind during his time in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The former X Factor judge hasn’t held his tongue as he’s branded Jedward ‘vile’, Ronan Keating a ‘p**k’ and Andrew Lloyd Webber a ‘freak’.

However it’s not the first time Louis has spoke his mind after he previously told Cat Deeley what he thought of her during the X Factor days.

The new This Morning host came under fire from Louis after he suggested she would never make mainstream TV as he snapped: ‘Sorry Cat, we don’t need you’.

After Cat suggested the ITV talent show should be taken off air, calling it ‘cyclical and boring’ Louis hit back.

He told The Mirror: ‘I think the truth is that Cat would love to be hosting the show but we have already got Dermot [O’Leary] and he is the best in the business.

‘She can stay on Sky 1 where nobody is watching. It is a bit of the green-eyed monster from Cat. Sorry Cat, we don’t need you.’

However it seems Louis was wrong, after Cat made her debut as the new host of the ITV daytime show alongside Ben Shephard on Monday.

It was revealed last month that the 47-year-old would be taking over after Holly Willoughby’s departure in October and Phillip Schofield’s resignation in May.

The new gig comes as Cat has left her presenting role on So You Think You Can Dance? after relocating back to London from LA with her husband Patrick Kielty and their two children.

Cat and Ben gushed they were ‘so excited’ as they finally made their debut on Monday.

Speaking during the show’s opening moments, Cat said: ‘We are so excited to be here, this show has been a part of our lives for so long.’

Ben, who left Good Morning Britain last month after 10 years, added: ‘Everyone has been so kind. thank you to everyone who has sent us messages of support.’

He told The Mirror at the time: ¿I think the truth is that Cat would love to be hosting the show but we have already got Dermot [O¿Leary] and he is the best in the business. She can stay on Sky 1 where nobody is watching. It is a bit of the green-eyed monster from Cat'

The pair received messages of support from some of their celebrity pals, with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly sharing a sweet tribute to their former SMTV co-host.

Ant said: ‘Cat, Ben, good luck!’ while Dec continued: ‘Have the best time! You’re going to be amazing, we can’t wait to watch.’

Noting their wild partying during their children’s TV heyday, Ant said: ‘A little bit of advice for Ben about Cat because we worked with Cat and she might be all sweetness and light but that girl can party! Don’t think she can’t.’

Declan added: ‘Keep a lock on the drinks cabinet.’

Meanwhile, during Tuesday night’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Louis laid into his former act Jedward in yet another scathing rant.

Louis was quizzed on his opinion of the Irish stars after managing them for four years between 2009 and 2013, after shooting to stardom on the X Factor.

Colson Smith asked Louis: ‘What were Jedward like?’

And Louis replied: ‘They were vile.’

Colson said: ‘They’ve done well’, and Louis said: ‘I got £5million from them. I swear on my mother’s life.’

Clearly impressed, Colson quipped back: ‘B****y hell, I wish I had a Jedward.’

Doubling down on his opinion, Louis added: ‘And they were vile. But they were novelty. It was great for the show. It was all about the show.’
