Theo has now got his own back by signing up for global MTV hit The Challenge.

The Sun can exclusively reveal that the cast jetted off to Vietnam earlier this week in order to begin filming the show’s whopping 40th series with Theo understood to be amongst them.

A TV insider told The Sun: “Theo was over the moon to be handed a coveted spot on The Challenge’s 40th series especially after being dropped by Love Island so abruptly.

“He loves being on TV and feels this is another huge opportunity for him to showcase his fun-loving personality after having the chance taken from him earlier this year.

“Theo has taken part in the programme before and so MTV bosses were delighted to get him back on board for this huge new series.

“He is in perfect shape and is a natural competitor and he certainly isn’t afraid to speak his mind and so he fits the bill entirely of a dream cast member.”

The TV heartthrob first appeared on the show in 2018 and managed to win a huge $200,000 on top of his show appearance fee.

Competitors compete to win up to $1 million each series making the stakes even higher than Love Island.

Theo won’t be the only Brit on the bill as Jenny West, famed for appearing on axed ITV2 reality show Survival of the Fittest, is also understood to be on the line-up.

Jenny won a series of the show in 2019 but hasn’t appeared on-screen since and insiders have added to The Sun that she is equally as excited to revive her TV career on the programme.

‘You’re too good for him,’ says Love Island legend Theo Campbell as he hits out at Josh Ritchie for making Georgia Harrison cry
The Sun has contacted MTV for comment.

They will star alongside a slew of other top US reality stars from across the show’s epic 26 year run.

A handful of UK stars have taken part on the show in the past which has been described as TV’s toughest competition.

Each week, the show’s contestants face off against each other in incredibly tough physical challenges to avoid being thrown into an elimination.

The losers of the daily challenges are then forced to battle one-on-one in a brutal elimination game that has seen a number of stars injured as a result of the extreme circumstances.

Theo first rose to fame when he took part in the third series of Love Island in 2017.

He famously clashed with co-star Jonny Mitchell during a fiery re-coupling as well as managing to turn most of the ladies’ heads thanks to his bombshell arrival.

Theo dated fellow Love Island star Kaz Crossley after the show but the pair eventually called it quits after a rocky relationship.
