Celebrity Big Brother has been the main topic of conversation since it returned at the beginning of the month.

The ITV programme was revived after it last aired on Channel 5 in 2018. The series might have been away from our screens for many years but returned with a bang thanks to all the drama between the celebrity housemates – including the newly eliminated Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Nikita KuzminFern Britton and Zeze Millz.

There have been rows over Louis’ laziness – with former This Morning presenter Fern calling him out during last week’s nomination – and strained relationships over shock nominations. Viewers enjoyed weeks of fun but hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best are gearing up to announce this year’s winners.

Fans have even claimed the show was ‘fixed’ when a twist saw Louis Walsh secure a seat in the final. Fern was tasked with choosing a person to evict on Monday night’s episode, but Big Brother later revealed that her choice would be given immunity from the next eviction.

Big Brother usually airs for six to eight weeks but the celebrities stay in the house for a much shorter time. Instead of almost two months, the reality programme is only on air for three weeks, making it a much easier experience for all the famous faces in the house.

The final will air later this week

The Celebrity Big Brother 2024 final will be airing on Friday, March 22. Viewers can tune in to watch at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX. Fans were heartbroken after finding out the date of the final episode. One user said on social media: “This season ending on Friday is so criminal…”

“Can’t believe the #CelebrityBigBrother final is in 5 days how is it already finished,” one user tweeted while another added: “Final week of #CBBUK and we’re yet to have one iconic or memorable quote this series,” along with a crying face emoji. It comes after it was revealed on Celebrity Big Brother : Late and Live last night that one celebrity was saved from ever being put up for eviction for the rest of the series and thus was confirmed to have a place in the grand final on Friday.

The evictions caused many arguments during this short series, with the first nominations causing tears when Lauren Simon found out she was up for eviction. After finding out what happened, she said: “I’ve obviously pissed a couple of people of. The thing is with me, I’ve heard it, I’ve taken it on board. I’m not going to change. I am what I am. Every day changes here, doesn’t it?”

So far, Lauren, Ekin-Su, Gary and Levi have all left the house, with Sharon Osbourne also leaving after serving her time as Celebrity Big Brother lodger. On Monday night, it was revealed that Fern, Zeze Millz, 34, and Marisha Wallace, 38, are now up for eviction.
