Celebrity Big Brother aired a brutal double eviction on Tuesday night just days ahead of the final this Friday.

It was revealed on Monday evening that Fern Britton, Zeze Millz and Marisha Wallace would be the next housemates to face the public vote. The trio joined Nikita Kuzmin, who courageously stepped forward and volunteered to take the killer nomination on Sunday night, meaning he would also be up for nomination.

After a public vote, with viewers asked to vote for the housemate they wish to save from eviction, it was revealed that Marisha had been evicted and later Zeze. The two housemates were greeted by loved ones in the live audience, where Zeze hilariously revealed Louis Walsh, who she has butted heads with in the house, would be a frenemy for life.

However, the twists were far from over as hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu then announced that despite there being six contestants left, only five would be in the final as there will be a shock eviction on Wednesday night. Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to react to the double exit and shock eviction news.

One person said: “So wanted Marisha and Zeze to stay in. Gutted they’ve gone. #CBBUK”, another person wrote: “Gutted to see Marisha and ZeZe go #CBBUK #CelebrityBigBrother”, a different viewer put: “Shock eviction? No way! #CBBUK #ITV1” while another added: “SHOCK EVICTION COMING RIGHT UP!!! #CBBUK #CBB #BBUK.”

So far, Lauren Simon, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Gary Goldsmith and Levi Roots have all left the house, with Sharon Osbourne also leaving after serving her time as Celebrity Big Brother lodger.

On Monday night, it was revealed that Marisha received four nominations from David Potts, Fern, Colson Smith and Bradley Riches. Meanwhile, Fern received four nominations from David, Colson, Nikita and Marisha while Zeze received three nominations from Louis Walsh, Nikita and Bradley.

However, the twists were far from over as Louis found himself safe from the nominations and straight into the final thanks to an immunity twist. During Monday’s episode, Big Brother called for one housemate to go to the Diary Room amid the house’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations, which Colson nominated Fern, admitting: “You’re the only one I trust!”

Upon entering the Diary Room, Fern found a pot of gold on the chair with a red toy snake on top. Big Brother explained: “Fern you’ve just found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. That means you’ve been granted one wish, the biggest wish of all. You must choose one housemate to be evicted. St Patrick famously banished the snakes from Ireland, and now by finding the pot of gold, you have been selected to banish a housemate.”

To select the housemate she wanted to evict, Fern was told she had to secretly place the red snake on the chosen person’s pillow and she decided to pick Louis. However, in a twist she was unaware of, Fern actually picked someone to be given a free pass through the next nominations. This meant that Louis would not be allowed to be put up for eviction by the housemates or the general public at home.

Later, as the housemates were relaxing in the bedroom, they were told: “It appears St Patrick hasn’t driven out all the snakes… there is a slivery intruder in the bedroom, housemates must find it now.” It wasn’t long until the housemates started running around the bedroom searching for the intruder as Louis was left annoyed to find it on his bed.

After being summoned to the Diary Room, Louis was told what had happened as it was aired to his fellow housemates, who all thought he was about to leave. However, Big Brother then revealed the twist, leaving Louis suspicious over who had nominated him in the first place while Fern kept a poker face.
