DANCING on Ice fans were left stunned as Amber Davies was shockingly voted off just one week before the final.

Amber was cruelly axed from the contest after a nail-biting skate-off alongside Adele Roberts.

As the results were revealed, show hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern confirmed that Amber and Adele would have to fight for their place in the final in the dreaded skate-off.

The result came as an utter shock after the West End star and BBC Radio 1 host became the first, and only, two stars to score a whopping 40.

Amber danced to the Little Mix track Power in what marked her third week running in the skate-off whilst Adele performed to the Rudimental track Not Giving In.

All four judges were left in agreement as they opted to save Adele and her partner, Mark Henretty, over Amber.

Fans were left shocked at the result as they commented on Amber’s exit from the show.

One said: “Amber getting the first 40 of the series for flying yet she still got sent home.”

Another added: “Make it make sense that Amber got a perfect score yet ends up going home.”

As a third chimed in to say: “Amber deserved to be in the final.”

It was the closest semi-final to date with just one point separating the top and bottom of the leaderboard.

Greg Rutherford came out on top with 41.5 as Amber, Adele and Ryan took home 41 points with Miles Nazaire receiving 40.5.

Ryan, Adele, Miles and Greg will now face off one final time in the grand final of the show next week.

Earlier in the show, fans had been left campaigning for the return of Johnny Weir amid a judging panel shake-up.

Johnny had been hired as a stand-in on the show after Ashley Banjo took some time off in order to take part in the latest Diversity tour.

The 39-year-old American figure skater has appeared on the programme for the past three weeks and became a firm favourite among fans.

They were left impressed with his judging prowess and chemistry with his fellow panellists, including Oti Mabuse.

Within seconds of tonight’s episode beginning, fans were immediately left demanding that Johnny be brought back.

Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one fan penned: “Aww Ashley is back I liked Johnny couldn’t we keep him lol.”

Another then echoed: “Forgot Ashley was back. Can we have Johnny back please.”
