CELEBRITY Big Brother fans claim to have worked out why Ekin-Su Culculoglu is biting her co-stars’ head off every time they mention her Love Island past.

Twice tonight she clashed with housemates over the ITV dating show, which she won with ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti.

Ekin and Davide recently split and the former hinted at a messy end to the relationship, telling co-star Marisha Wallace: “Let’s just say he hurt me.”

Now fans think Ekin is both desperate to forget all about the Italian Stallion and have a major rebrand that erases her past on the Island.

One person wrote on X: “Ekin-Su wants to rebrand soo badly from Love Island which I get but she does realise that’s the reason she’s ‘famous’ and what people know her from.”

Another said: “Ekin fool I am not buying this damsel in distress narrative u got going on… NEXT.”

A third wrote: “Why is Ekin Su so aggy about love island?”

During the series’ first nominations, Ekin and Coronation Street star Colson Smith didn’t see eye to eye.

The voice of Big Brother gathered the celebrities in the living room, saying: “This is Big Brother, it’s time for nominations. You are reminded that the Big Brother rules are clear regarding this process, you cannot discuss your nominations with your fellow housemates.

“Celebrity lodger Sharon cannot nominate nor be nominated. And as Gary is already up for eviction he also can’t be nominated.”

Ekin was clearly upset over the concept of picking someone to boot out of the house.

“I don’t like this, I like us being a family,” she said.

Colson asked: “On Love Island, do you have to say who you want to go on that?”

Ekin snapped back: “This is not Love Island, this is not the same.”

Genuinely curious, Colson persisted: “But on that, do you have to say…”

But before he had a chance to finish his sentence, Ekin firmly said: “It’s not the same, please just let it go.”

It’s not just Colson who suffered Ekins wrath, she also had a spat with Zeze Millz on the same topic.

The trouble began when Ekin made a brief remark about the show, saying of CBB: “This is not like Love Island.”

Zeze replied: “I would never do Love Island, but if you are in a hot country it is kinda like a free holiday, do you know what I mean?”

Ekin disagreed, saying icily: “It wasn’t really for me.”

Zeze shot back curtly: “Maybe we didn’t get to see that.”

The air suddenly turning distinctly unfriendly, Ekin replied: “It’s a reality show filmed 24/7 honey, you only see 40 minutes of it.”

Zeze answered: “That’s what I just said, that’s why I said we didn’t get to see all of it.”

Ekin-Su agreed: “Yeah, you didn’t” Zeze has the final word, hitting back: “That’s what I just said!”
