ASHLEY Roberts suffered a hair-raising moment on the Brit Awards red carpet – after a wardrobe malfunction left her scrambling.

The Heart radio host and former Saturdays singer chose a daring outfit for the annual ceremony at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday night, where a sweeping white gown that exposed her midriff and wrapped around her neck.

Partnered with a daring thigh-high split, the fashion choice came with a catch – and Ashley found that out the hard way.

When her silver heels caught on her train and pulled, Ashley came dangerously close to being almost completely exposed å la Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori.

Ashley had to quickly gather up material to cover her modesty, reorganising her dress so it kept everything protected the way it was meant to.

Thankfully, Ashley had a good sense of humour about the whole thing, laughing off the incident with the photographers before heading inside for the evening’s festivities.

As arguably the biggest stand out moment for the British music industry, the Brits saw hundreds of celebs and stars show off their unique styles.

There were also a fair few surprises, with Yinka Bokinni confirming she was pregnancy by showing off her baby bump for the cameras.

As for the ceremony itself, it was pure girl power with women dominating the wins – most notably Raye, who took home a record-breaking six trophies, and Kylie Minogue, who performed after winning the Global Icon award.

Ashley managed to find time to slip off after the ceremony and get changed into a salmon-coloured mini-dress for a bit more protection at the after party, which was held at The Standard in London.
