In May 2013, a young man named Lucas H. Vorsteveld, 22 years old in Chicago, attempted to break into Taylor Swift’s beachfront villa in Rhode Island.
This man swam 3km in cold water to reach Taylor’s private beach at 2am.
However, when they were close to shore, this crazy fan was discovered by Taylor’s bodyguard team. He tried to swim back but was caught.
Lucas initially claimed that he was just swimming… exercising but later admitted that he plotted to approach Taylor’s villa because he wanted to see her. Lucas then had to appear in court for this illegal break-in.

Last March, Taylor Swift was continuously harassed by a male fan day and night at her luxury apartment in Tribeca, New York.
A guy named Mohammed Jaffar, 29 years old, has come to this penthouse four times with the desire to meet the singer.
The first time, he broke into the apartment hallway. The second time, Mohammed jumped onto the roof of the building in the middle of the night.
Two other times, this crazy fan rang the bell continuously for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Mohammed Jaffar also contacted Taylor Swift’s manager many times to ask to arrange an appointment with the singer.
He called 60 times in about 2 weeks. Mohammed was arrested by police on March 6, 2017.

On April 8, a man was arrested while climbing the wall into Taylor’s $25 million mansion in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
This person shouted Taylor’s name, but she was not home at the time.
Taylor’s bodyguards asked the crazy fan to climb down or the police would be called, but he still remained on the fence.
Taylor has built a high wall around the villa, but crazy fans still often break into the house.
Beverly Hills police then came and took the man to the station. He is facing 6 months in prison for breaking and entering and refusing to leave someone else’s private property.
Robbed a bank to throw money at Taylor’s house
