Home Alone fans have been stunned by Macaulay Culkin’s voice after hearing it for the first time since he was a child, saying: ‘I was not expecting it to sound like that.’

The iconic child actor, 43, was honored on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Friday in front of family and famous friends in Los Angeles, where he made an acceptance speech.

Those in the crowd included his on-screen mother from Home Alone, Catherine O’Hara, Disney actress wife Brenda Song, and their two sons Dakota, two, and Carson, who was born sometime before Christmas 2022.

In an emotional speech, the Kevin McCallister actor praised his wife Brenda and said: ‘You are absolutely everything. You’re my champion.’

The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody actress, 35, could be seen tearing up as Culkin continued: ‘You’re the only person happier for me today than I am.

The Home Alone actor was supported by his wife, Brenda Song, 35, (pictured), his son Dakota, two, (pictured) and an array of other famous friends

‘You’re not only the best woman I’ve ever known, you’re the best person I’ve ever known. You’ve given me just all my purpose. You’ve given me family.’

He added: ‘And after the birth of our two boys, you’ve become one of my three favourite people.

The legendary Christmas icon signed off his tear-jerking speech quipping: ‘And in the spirit of the holiday season I just want to say Merry Christmas you filthy animals.’

Despite Culkin’s touching tribute, and the huge feat of receiving a Walk Of Fame star, some fans were more focused on the sound of his voice.

One queried: ‘Macaulay Culkin voice really sounds like that.’

‘This is cute but are we all gonna ignore that, that’s his voice.’

‘Ok I’m not being funny but listen to his voice.

Some viewers were shocked to discover the child star and his brother, Kieran Culkin, 41, sounded eerily similar to him.

One fan noted: ‘Macaulay Culkin and Kieran really do have the same speaking voice – omg.’

‘Y’all are surprised that Macaulay Culkin sounds like his brother Kieran Culkin?’

During the ceromony, O’Hara took to the podium in what was a heartwarming reunion between the actress and her on-screen son.

The pair were both featured in the smash hit Home Alone in 1990, as well as its sequel in 1992.

Macaulay played the part of mischievous Kevin, while O’Hara played his constantly vexed mother Kate.

The Schitt’s Creek actress tenderly touched Macaulay’s face as she made a heartfelt speech about the actor – 33 years after they first met.

She said: ‘Home Alone was, is and always will be a beloved global sensation.

‘The reason families all over the world can’t let a year go by without watching and loving Home Alone together is because of Macaulay Culkin.

Labelling his performance ‘perfect’ she continued: ‘I know you worked really hard, I know you did, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do.’

She told how the actor brings his ‘sweet and twisted, yet totally relatable sense of humor to every project he does’, quipping: ‘It’s a sign of intelligence in a child and a key to survival at any age.

‘Macaulay, congratulations. You so deserve your star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.’

She finished: ‘And thank you for including me, your fake mom who left you home alone not once but twice, to share in this happy occasion. I’m so proud of you.’
