From an illegitimate child not acknowledged by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Joseph Baena grew closer to his father.
Participating in the latest episode of the Unwaxed podcast, Joseph Baena had the opportunity to share about his relationship with actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Baena said he and his father were very close and talked freely about everything.
“I grew up with my mother and was always worried about whether or not my father would accept me.
I didn’t want him to think badly of me, like: ‘What the hell is this kid doing? He just parties all the time. what?'”, Baena confided.
It took a while for Baena and Schwarzenegger’s relationship to solidify. The Pepperdine University alumnus praised his father as a great person.
“I haven’t taken my father’s last name because growing up I wasn’t in the Schwarzenegger family. Actually, I don’t think much about this because I already have my last name.
I’m currently just trying to accomplish the goals I set. That’s my only thought right now,” Baena added.

According to Daily Mail , Joseph Baena was born in 1997, the stepson of the Terminator star and maid Mildred Baena.
Initially, Arnold Schwarzenegger did not accept Joseph Baena. But after many years, he accepted Baena’s feelings for him.
In 2012, the actor published his autobiography Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story and mentioned his illegitimate child.
He also attended Baena’s graduation ceremony and expressed his pride in his son.
Among her children, Baena resembles Schwarzenegger the most in appearance and career ambitions.
The young man wants to continue the glorious bodybuilding career of the former Governor of California.
When Baena posted a photo recreating his famous father’s classic muscle-flaunting pose, he was called “a young version of Schwarzenegger” by many Hollywood newspapers.
