The San Francisco 49ers have made their decision on wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk.

The Athletic’s Matt Barrows thinks the 49ers will listen to offers for WR Brandon Aiyuk through the first round of the draft but it will take something monumental for them to part ways with the disgruntled wide receiver.

Two teams that were mentioned were the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are seemingly still in the hunt for a big-time move this offseason, and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk could be their top target. With three trades already behind them in the last two weeks, you can’t rule out the Steelers making a move for the All-Pro Brandon Aiyuk.

Much like them, the Patriots would also like to land a big-time WR after they struck out on Calvin Ridley this offseason.

Reports claim the 49ers recently turned down an offer from the Jacksonville Jaguars and instead asked for a first-round pick and wideout Zay Jones as a counteroffer.

Brandon Aiyuk Makes It Clear He Wants New Deal or Get Away From The 49ers

On the Monday after losing to the Chiefs in overtime of the Super Bowl, Brandon Aiyuk went on social media to express his displeasure with how the 49ers used him in the biggest game of the season. “Don’t forget what got you there,” Aiyuk wrote.

Then his brother went on social media to vent. “This is the exact reason why we leaving San Francisco,” while Aiyuk’s girlfriend went on TikTok to vent: “This might be the last day we touch foot on Levi’s Stadium because we might not be out here next season.”

Aiyuk chose an interesting way to make his way back to X this week.

Aiyuk tagged Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin in a message on the social media platform amid questions about his long-term future in the Bay Area.

Aiyuk has said he’s open to staying in San Francisco, but he wants his long-term deal to do so.
