Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields has dropped a very interesting hint on which team he might land with next…

On X/Twitter, several fans noted that Fields is following the Seattle Seahawks and their superstar wide receiver, D.K. Metcalf, on social media. Naturally, folks are now speculating that this will be Fields’ next team:

The Bears are widely expected to use the first overall pick of this year’s draft on USC’s Caleb Williams, so it’s only a matter of time until they trade Fields. And the amount of logical suitors is quickly starting to dwindle, making the Seahawks an intriguing landing spot.

The Atlanta Falcons have signed Kirk Cousins to be their new franchise quarterback. The Las Vegas Raiders signed veteran Gardner Minshew II to compete with Aidan O’Connell for the starting QB role.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Russell Wilson to compete with Kenny Pickett. On top of that, the Bears are surely not keen on dealing Fields inside the division to the quarterback-needy Minnesota Vikings.

Seattle has 2022 Comeback Player of the Year Geno Smith signed for two more years. The 33-year-old regressed in 2023 after a career year, however, so it would make sense for Seattle to make a play for Fields and see if he can serve as an upgrade over Smith.

Last season, the 25-year-old Fields completed 61.4 percent of pass attempts for 2,562 yards and 16 touchdowns against nine interceptions.
