The NBA has seen a lot of aggressive players throughout its lifetime but Warriors star Draymond Green is one of a kind even in that group. His team recently faced the Los Angeles Lakers and his illegal screen on LeBron James is gaining quite a lot of attention.
The video of the incident is going viral on social media, especially on X (formerly Twitter). The fans are flooding the comments section to express their views on Green’s screen while criticizing the Warriors star for being overly aggressive.

The Lakers faced the Golden State Warriors in a thrilling match that came to a bizarre end. The finish to the game was all set to be a dramatic conclusion but some issues forced a 23-minute delay to the final moments of the game. The Warriors ended up winning the game with a final score of 128-121. However, Draymond Green’s illegal screen on Bron became the talk of the night.
The video of the incident is making rounds on the internet and in the video we can see the disgusting screen Green provided. The Warriors ace Stephen Curry driver to make a layup breaking past Austin Reaves. Curry would have faced King James next if Draymond had not provided a screen. Curry ended up scoring the basket but the quality of the screen by Green made everyone in the arena question its legitimacy. Draymond can be seen pushing LeBron James and holding him while Curry made the shot.
NBA Fans Reaction to Green’s Illegal Screen
The NBA fans online were quick to take note of the illegal attempt of the Warriors star. They called him out in the comments section on X and also expressed their views on the bad play. One fan commented, “I’ve been saying for forever now. Draymond should not be allowed in the NBA” expressing his opinion of not allowing the Warriors star to play in the league because of the over-aggressive nature he brings to the game.
Another fan commented, “Illegal screen by Draymond Green.” He kept it simple and called out the screen to be illegal. The screen provided by Green was a moving screen which is not a legal play to make.
Another fan commented, “Warriors always get away with illegal screens” casting the blame onto the whole squad instead of Draymond alone.
